While the university offers 30 to 35% of its courses in English in any given semester, the majors that English speaking foreign students can pursue are: Information Technology, Global Management and Business, US and International Law, and Korean Studies

To graduate, a student must complete 140 credits, including two 33 credit majors, 21 credits of liberal arts courses, 12 credits of Korean language, 9 credits of Christian studies, 8 credits of computer studies, 6 semesters of chapel attendance, courses in both English and Korean Language, and mandatory courses in leadership training, character development, and reading.

The cost of attending Handong Global University is comparable to costs at other universities in Korea. The average tuition charge is approximately $4,000 or 원3,200,000 (South Korean won) per semester, although tuition will vary from 2,528,000-3,276,000 won depending on a student’s program. In addition, there is an admission fee of 550,000 won for new students, a student activity fee of 25,000 won, and dormitory fees totalling 1,395,000 won (half of which is for campus meals) per semester. Students also will need approximately 300,000 won ($300) per semester for food and 300,000 won ($300) per semester for books. Personal expenses may vary considerably depending on each student’s needs and choices.

Covering approximately 200 acres (0.81 km2), Handong is located in Pohang, South Korea. Pohang is a rapidly growing city, currently numbering approximately 500,000 people. Pohang City is known to the world as the headquarters for several large steel factories, two of which are Posco and INI Steel.

The FIFA World Cup, occasionally called the Football World Cup or Soccer World Cup, but usually referred to simply as the World Cup, is an international association football competition contested by the men's national teams of the members of Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), the sport's global governing body. The championship has been awarded every four years since the first tournament in 1930, except in 1942 and 1946 when it was not contested because of World War II.


The 2010 FIFA World Cup will be the 19th FIFA World Cup, the premier international football tournament. It is scheduled to take place between 11 June and 11 July 2010 in South Africa. The 2010 FIFA World Cup will be the culmination of a qualification process that began in August 2007 and involved 204 of the 208 FIFA national teams. As such, it matches the 2008 Summer Olympics as the sports event with the most competing nations.

This will be the first time that the tournament has been hosted by an African nation, after South Africa beat Morocco and Egypt in an all-African bidding process. This decision left the Oceania Football Confederation as the only confederation yet to host the FIFA World Cup. Italy is the defending champions. The draw for the finals took place on 4 December 2009 in Cape Town.

Five new stadiums have been built for the tournament, and five of the existing venues are to be upgraded. Construction costs are expected to be R8.4bn.

In addition to the stadiums being built and upgraded, South Africa is also planning to improve its current public transport infrastructure within the various cities, with projects such as the Gautrain and the new Bus Rapid Transit system (BRT) titled Rea Vaya. Danny Jordaan, the president of the 2010 World Cup organizing committee, has said that he expects all stadiums for the tournament to be completed by October 2009.

70,000 construction workers who were supposed to be working on the new stadiums walked off their jobs on 8 July 2009. Major road networks have been improved to cater for the expected influx of people coming to the country who will be traveling to and from the match stadiums. The Gautrain (underground rail network) will be complete in time for the opening game, but only limited lengths of the route.

ENG311: How to avoid stress before exams

        Stress is a serious problem that pushes us into pressure and loneliness. If we do not consider this problem as soon as possible, it is accumulated and it forms a real bad impact on our health and job. There has many ways to solve this problem.


       First of all, we need to take a regular break when we are in a stress. As a result, your mind would be cleaner and your study time would be more productive. Also break can give us more time to rest of our mind.

       Furthermore, we can study with our friends as much as possible. And it can discuss any difficulties that come up. In other word, it means we would be dispelled our stress if we do this. Also, communication is the main factor that becomes less stress.

          Finally, we should eat properly and get enough sleep. When we are defective of food, we start to get stress. Also, our mind or brain is more relaxed when we sleep. By doing this, we would be healthy and able to more concentrate for exam. And in addition to, we have to make a study plan. It means we need to have time management. The reason is work would be more organized if we can take it all. We get a stress easier causing by our wrong time management or study planning.

        All things considered, we can be out of stress if all those steps are taken. The last word I notice for this problem, it only relate to our attitude whether to become less stress.

ENG311: How can we make our city a better place to live?

        In Mongolia, air pollution, traffic jam and litter are the most serious problem by now. These are much influent badly for our city development. Also, there is a lot of ways to solve these problems.
        Firstly, air pollution has very bad influence for our health since it includes much poisonous carbon dioxide. In fact, ozone layer always protects us from ultra ray of the sun. However, it certainly shallow day by day and air pollution, climate change increase following by below one. Moreover, air pollution emerges from a number of public transportation and industries.
       Secondly, the one thing that we get in a nervous or stress is traffic jam. It absolutely related to the wrong policy or strategy I guess. Honestly, the load of transportation has already been surpassed from normal level of it. But, a number of transportation is increasing dramatically unless most people do know about at all. So, I point that the right policy of transportation is required for solution.
       Thirdly, a litter is the most serious problem that it seems to us like very simple cause. But, is has very bad impact on our city exhibition and development. Perhaps, the reason of it existing constantly is citizen’s behavior and not enough of litter bins. In order to solve this problem, people must be more cultured and establishing more bins for each bus station for instance.
       Finally, by doing this, our city would be cleaner and more organized. Actually health of citizens would improve if we do this all. And also we would be out of stress fro traffic jam.
      There are many ways to make our city a better place to live. If we want to live in a better place, these measures should be taken. We can see the results from people faces.

ENG311: Should more people give up meat and become vegetarians?

    Eating much meat is  really bad for health. We all know well its impact for our health and environment. However, We use this a lot everyday for our meal. Perhaps it gives you more satisfaction and proteins. But you will push yourself into a death if you do still use it. In order to prove this, Let me explain it with some justifications.
     First of all, Eating meat is the main reason for all of pollution. It differs much greenhouse gas into the air that we breathe. Also, this gas occurs a big climate change. Warming of whole world is absolutely related to this climate change. In addition, eating much meat is getting shorter our age and demolishing our healthiness.
      Secondly, Most people suppose that any else food can not be substitution of meat. That's why it is  so delicious and tasty. But it is able to create a new food that can substitute meat like delicious. For instance, sea foods are tastefully as meat. Another point is that choosing for vegetarians food. To be honest, this kind of foods can give us not only feed or protein but also good health. It is the best idea that I ever found that.
        All things are considered, We have so many so many chances that avoid meat usage. The most important thing that the only permitting other vegeterian food. If we do this, We can redesign more healthy our diet and we made a big contribution to the climate change. Furthermore, some disasters, including the air pollution and global warming, are become less than like today. After all, never forget about the meat is killing you softly. So shall we change our diet from now on people!!!

A champion jockey is about to enter an important race on a new horse. The horse's trainer meets him before the race and says, ''All you have to remember with this horse is that every time you approach a jump, you have to shout, 'ALLLLEEE OOOP!' really loudly in the horse's ear. Providing you do that, you'll be fine.''

The jockey thinks the trainer is mad but promises to shout the command. The race begins and they approach the first hurdle. The jockey ignores the trainer's ridiculous advice and the horse crashes straight through the center of the jump.

They carry on and approach the second hurdle. The jockey, somewhat embarrassed, whispers 'Aleeee ooop' in the horse's ear. The same thing happens--the horse crashes straight through the center of the jump.

At the third hurdle, the jockey thinks, ''It's no good, I'll have to do it,'' and yells, ''ALLLEEE OOOP!'' really loudly. Sure enough, the horse sails over the jump with no problems. This continues for the rest of the race, but due to the earlier problems the horse only finishes third.

The trainer is fuming and asks the jockey what went wrong. The jockey replies, ''Nothing is wrong with me--it's this bloody horse. What is he--deaf or something?''

The trainer replies, ''Deaf?? DEAF?? He's not deaf--he's BLIND!''

The film is about a great war between 2 powerful Empire or Planet for a land. On the whole, all actions happen on Pandorra planet by after 100
years from so far. The Earth is already demolished by people. Meanwhile, Mankind discovers the new planet that is available to live on it. Therefore, The Great War begins rapidly. But actually people realizes they made a violence for Navi's. At the end of film, 2 Empires merges with each other.
The film is absolutely superb and awesome. Because, director used the most modernist technology in this film. What is more, it is filled with full of thrilling and touching moments. Also, it tells us that we should love our planet or nature. Perhaps, If we don't, this war'll originally begin as my opinion. So,director's casting choice was extremely right. It has a tragic end.
I highly recommend this film. Don't miss it. It is well worth seeing and you will never regret that. Also, it's bound to be a box office hit. And I hope you like it.

" Are you sure it's safe" Josh asked his friend Dave, who was with him that time. Josh was terrified about a damage, but Dave wasn't. Naturally Dave is really braveheart and confident. But he is a bit of selfish. Eventually he has a confidence, he doesn't have an any ability that estimate the risk and hypothesis of pre-control. Honestly, they had just decided to go picnic by Josh's parent car.
It was so cloudy and windy day. Fron the past, they were considering about a car picnic with girls. But they didn't deal with go by Josh's parent's car. And Josh had no choice and he obeyed his mind. They called their girlfriends and they started to go after they gathered. Unfortunately, Josh was still hestitating about his friend and his parents. After big picnic that continued for a whole day, they came back to home. In spite of Josh was so happy, he was still afraid that his parents would know about car. As a fortune, his parents didn't know it.
But Josh got a real sympathic thing and he made a vow himself that "Never this happen again". All in all, he could realize his close friend's secret behaviour.

I stood on the deck staring at the huge waces...
During that time, it seemed to me like weather has drastically changed and I thought the boat would be sank. But suddenly the sun has appeared and all dark clouds were cleared by shining light. All passengers gave their fears away and full happiness came up to their faces. Actually, I started fill with positive feelings and I was looking at the hovering bird in the clear blue sky. They were flying higher to higher like call on me to join with them. But I told responding to them that I wish I could fly like you guys. To tell the truth, I was flying with them in the sky in my vision. I was standing on the edge of the deck like we watched in "Titanic". I heard the some noise like walking on the wood from distance. It was a girl same aged like me. So we become a close friends. That was the most unforgettable moment in my life. It was such a fantastic when we were talking on the deck about our own lives and future. Also our long speech kept going until midnight. So we went to our ways and seperated. From that time, I never forget about that speech made to between us. That journey to Australia is unforgettable. I can't believe I was there. This voyage changed my whole life and it gave me a chance to see the life from more different. I could correct all my wrongs.

MY WORST DAY
When I was studying at the high-school, I fell in love with my classmate girl. Honestly, I sat with her in one student table for 2 years. So I decided to write a letter to her. And then, I started to write a love letter with my uncle. Tomorrow morning, I filled with full nervous and got to tremble. Therefore during the last break time, I came to her and I gave my letter. But that was terrifying and embarrassing. Cause, after she took my letter, She told me that "I'm so sorry, but I have a boyfriend". Meanwhile, My heart has blocked for a second and I didn't hear any noise there. I do remember that events til now and I can't believe she ignored me. But that's okey. Fortunately I didn't give up and I made my new journey that looks for a new girlfriend.
